Long Island, NY (August 21, 2008) - Andao Tea introduces four, 100 percent USDA organic certified, single-origin loose leaf teas including Organic Peony White Tea from Northern Fujian Province; Organic Dragon Well Green Tea from the Zhe Jiang Province; Organic Jade Cassia Oolong from Wu Yi Mountain, Fujian Province; and Organic Yunnan Gold from the Yunnan Province.

 

Each tea was hand selected by Andao Tea from China's most renowned traditional tea producing regions. Combined, these teas represent the distinct tastes and unique varieties of China's best single-origin, whole leaf organic teas.

 

For a light aromatic smooth tea with low caffeine, the Organic Peony White Tea is the perfect match. In China, white tea is harvested from from very young, early growth leaves resulting in it's light color and texture.

 

According to Chinese history, green tea is the oldest tea in the traditional tea culture. It’s processed from an un-oxidized tea and contains a higher amount of vitamins, nutrients and other health benefiting components – perfect for those more health conscious.

 

Oolong tea is one of the most diverse teas favoring a wide variety of flavor palettes and aromatic compositions. It is a semi-oxidized tea with a mixture of spirited and flowery aromas and a mellow and robust body. Oolong is a great tea for the morning.

 

Black tea – called “Red Tea” in China – is fully oxidized and is known for its robust, full-bodied characteristics and malty undertones.
